Sagarika Sen (1969), is a Mumbai born artist, based in Singapore. A qualified Chartered Accountant, she is largely self taught, and has been practicing art since 1999. For Sagarika, art is like meditation. It brings out her inner stillness, and adds depth to her life, amidst quietness and solitude. She uses her art to capture 'anything that celebrates Life and Love'.. Sagarika's watercolours have an inimitable style. Her strength of course, lies in portraiture. They are simple and uncomplicated, but speak volumes about Sagarika. Her works are best describes by Oscar Wildes' words- 'Every portrait that is painted with feeling, is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.' She has participated in many international shows and her works are in private collection in many parts of the world.
