Megha Nema
Artist's Statement
Painting allows me go within myself and be able to express what I really feel about a subject. I love experimenting with colours in my painting, which I consider my biggest strength. I take inspiration from my fond childhood memories, my family, extensive travels and by the multitude of colours in nature.
Megha's work is inspired by the beauty of nature. Colour and texture are focal point of her paintings. Her current series is called 'Somewhere Around'. It's inspired by Singapore's flora and fauna. Her work is mainly acrylic on canvas, often combined with mediums such as pastel, graphite and collage.
